The case of the Arles Rhône 3 Project: an example of underwater heritage communication

However, the problems in communicating underwater heritage to the wider society simply make more evident the issues that regard archaeology in general. This work aims to make the Public Archaeology discourse aware of the importance of engaging local communities and visitors in the ‘heritage production’ process, as well as on the need to adopt more and path-breaking strategies to communicate archaeological heritage to society.
